First day IF here (been on keto almost 2 weeks).

My goal is reset my metabolism, fat loss and weight loss F(37) 5’6, SW:152 CW:147 GW:120.

Recently a smart scale called me obese even though my BMI is “normal” because my body fat percentage is 33 (YIKES!) and I freaked out ! I used to be so fit then pregnancy loss, back injury, stopping crossfit, pandemic, doing a doctorate program and going through mental breakdown… Slowly getting my life back on track !

I am now pain free (after 3 years, yay) and workout 6 times a week, 4 times HIIT and 2 times lifting heavy.

Skipping breakfast is my choice, even though it is so hard (my favorite meal) especially after I’ve worked out this morning. Coffee helps a little. Definitely unable to fast if not already on keto

Started IF in early jan (although had always skipped breakfast but now I skip sweet coffee too). Mostly 16/8 or 18/6 with occasional OMAD. Normally have a cup of coffee with cream in the am, 550 calories at lunch, 500-600 at dinner (with usually one restaurant meals I can’t measure/count per week but stick to relatively low carb. ) doing peloton 30-45 min 4x week and body sculpt classes 2x week and walk the dog…

Want to lose 8-10 lbs, but despite having cut out sugar and booze I’ve lost 1 lb so far. Being 5”1 and perimienopausal I know it would go slow but dang..maybe I need to try a 36 hr fast…
