Day2 of Week20, IF, 18/6

SW: 104kg/229lbs; CW: 89kg/196lbs; GW: 85kg/187lbs

Today I have no idea of my weight, I’ve been preoccupied with work enough to forget measuring completely. so I’ll assume somewhere around 89.xkg range.

In my 24h fast now, that’ll end around 16:00 today.

To be honest my head is entirely wrapped into work related stuff so I can’t even remember what my schedule is like after the 24h.

Pollen concentration feels a little lesser in the air today, but I wouldn’t go outside to take deep breaths.

I sure would like things to return to normal right about now, but it doesn’t seem to be happening any time soon.

Another day of OMAD

Upped my protein yesterday and had a more varied meal, it worked and I ended the day on 1850 calories. I also did a hard boxing work out at the gym.

I have to lose 4kg by november for a boxing match so it’s now or never, I NEED to keep my calories reasonable so I can lose that weight.

OMAD Day 7.

I binged really bad today. :( Quite mad at myself. I ate 3 meals today, but the calories were prob around 3,000. I think what triggered me is that I’ve been dealing with chronic illness (Trigeminal neuralgia) and today was an especially bad day, so I was in a piss mood and turned to food. -_-

Middle of Week 9

Weighed in this morning, down a little over a pound this week which is nice since I was stalled the previous week. Total of 34 pounds lost so far. The halfway mark is starting to come into view.

I will say though, as my weight loss continues and I’m starting to really notice a difference in my body composition, I’ve realized something a little sad…that weight loss alone is not going to make me happy. I am definitely proud of myself for losing this weight so far despite being pretty miserable every day, and I hope it leads to a healthier life long term, but I can’t say that I am any happier.

I think ultimately it’s a good realization. I can now establish a more mature relationship with my body and my health, and search deep for the reasons of doing this that goes beyond increasing my pleasure. I am trying to build a body for the future, for doing the things that need to be done in my life. Perhaps one day a healthier body will play a part in giving me a bit of happiness, but until then I need other reasons to keep going.

Week 8 Day 4

OMAD/TMAD | Weight Lost: 30lbs

Thoughts on one protein shake a day? For 60 days? Or is that too long? The shakes would be around 420 cals

Is this falling into ED territory of thinking? I mean fasting on its own without it being intermittent is just 0 cals a day. I’m just locked in, can’t drop any lbs without fasting

Context of fast: I’m 17 hours into my fast. I have one more hour to go.

Why? I want to be healthy and practice habits that are good for me.

Notes: I’m getting used to not eating until after lunch and I love that. It’s made me a lot more mindful regarding what to eat and what not to eat. I’ve also noticed that I tend to eat when I’m stressed, angry or sad. It took a lot of self control to not eat these past two weeks because I’m dealing with a lot of pressure with work and studies.

Only water From 10:45pm until 8:45 First time doing 22:2 or OMAD Weight loss It was my first long fast usually i do 18 hours. Had headaches and slept for 4 hours in the afternoon. My head is really foggy. To break my fast i tried to eat a little a then actually eat so i ate a couple small bites of some bread and fish filet. Then an hour later my family ordered pizza for dinner so I ate 4 slices and a cheese stick. I started feeling very warm but now thats gone. I know I broke my fast wrong but I dont have anything good in my house to break it. And im not going to eat only a few bananas for the next fast. I need a proper dinner and this was the only thing there. It sucked eating all those carbs. Any advice?

I’m new to this sub but am excited for the support and learn some good tips and tricks. Started 7/10/22 SW 225 CW 209 and GW 140. My largest struggle is that sometimes I don’t think that I eat the right balance before starting to fast so then my blood sugar tanks.
