20:4 fasting; water/coffee/occasional propel. After getting 6 stitches in my hand at work, I crammed pizza and and a bowl of ice cream into my face last night… but at least it was in my eating window strictly! Feeling super insanely crappy from carb and sugar crash but determined to flush out with water and my boost drink powder (sodium/citric acid/magnesium/calcium) and holding strong till later. I’m on day two of week two.

Have been doing 16:8 or 18:6 and it was working well but had a heavy few days over the weekend leading to a lot of bloat and feeling crap.

This has spurred me on to attempt my first ever 36 hour fast! Started yesterday evening, will go for the rest of today and break it tomorrow. This is the first time I’ve ever gone between waking up and going to bed without eating so I’m a bit nervous but feeling determined.

Edit - whoops I didn’t make it. Did make it 21 hours though which is my longest ever! Think I’m going to try and get more used to OMAD before trying longer

Water fast start 1pm end 5pm20/4 I want to achieve the reversal of insulin resistance and to get a slimmer face and get rid of love handles . It’s going well I’m losing 1lb per week at 2000 calories a day . I’m not getting tired after meals anymore and I notice myself being able to fast easier for longer day by day .

I’m really frustrated with not seeing any results at all. 40F, 5’1” SW 177, CW 176.6, eating sub 20 carbs per day, 1200 calories, sometimes less. Fasting 16:8 for 5 days now and the scale hasn’t budged whatsoever. I feel good, energetic, pushing through the hunger pains well. I’ve been eating low carb for 7 years so that’s fine and I’m not accidentally eating poorly. How soon can I expect literally any change on the scale? Am I being impatient?

I have been doin IF 16-8/18-6 for almos a year now, wih a month break in between.During the holiday break I gained back 5kgs after losing 13 kgs. After I started IF again, havent been able to lose any weight. I suspect it might be due to eating too less (700-900 calories). Taking an off day, I ended up having a large pizza for Lunch and Dinner, and some dessert. The next day, I notice almost a 1kg drop in weight, when I expected it to have increased.

I am unable to understand how my body is maintaining weight with low carb, low calorie diet but suddenly dropping weight after a day of binge eating high carb, high sugar foods.

F64 basically 20:4. Inserted a 44:4 over Sunday. 10 days so far, 10 lbs lost. Just started another 44:4. Going to try to do them every other. No hunger at all, and when I eat, I am very satiated at about 1500 cal/day.

48M. OMAD during weekdays and reasonable eating in weekends for about 45 days. Running 3x a week. T &R 3 miles and 5 on Saturday. Decided this past Sunday to extend the day until Tuesday. It really wasn’t to difficult and I like the results seen. 250 at start and 232 this morning.
