Fasting from food. 18:6 most work days and the others tend to be closer to 20:4 when work gets busy, fasting 8pm to 2pm the following day with one scheduled 20 hour fasting from 8pm Friday to 4pm Saturday which would be today, weigh in on Sundays after I use the can.

This week I remember going over on food calories several days so we’ll see how it goes on the scale tomorrow.

I tried IF maybe a decade ago but gave up on it, day 17 today of doing IF and I like it. I like the challenge of it too. Yesterday I could have easily done 20 hours but decided to eat what food I had at work around 3:20pm

Starting weight on 2/2/23 was around 176 and as of last Sunday I was 169.8. Goal weight is 145 pounds, to be leaner than I’ve ever been and the closest I’d ever gotten was a 4 and a half pack of abs with love handles and fat around the belly but it got the job done.

Fasting from food. I started out doing 16:8 earlier in the week but after unintentionally doing an 18:4 going to try a 17:7. I start eating at 2 pm and stop eating 9pm. Im not a big breakfast eater and I’m really trying to exercise self restraint when I eat meals/snacks. Recently came out of a manic episode and hit the depression the past 2 months (gained 30 lbs from eating crap and not moving around).

I’m 6 days in, eating more healthful foods, and keeping track of my moods while doing it. I want lose weight weight, feel happy and healthy about myself. I don’t want to throw myself into another mania so right now I’m just focusing on the fast and not the exercise, I’ll get outside and walk/play with my kids for 45-1 hour.

Going to try OMAD for the next few days (water and black tea during fasting hours). I’ve been happy with my progress on 16:8 everyday + one 36-hour fast a week, but I’ve noticed that I’m not always hungry when it’s time to break the fasting window.

In an ideal world, I’d like to bounce around between 16:8, OMAD, 24+ hours, and even days off fasting depending on how I feel/events happening/meals planned. However, I tend to do better with a structured routine. Maybe some day I’ll be that confident in my fasting skills!
