Week 6 - losing weight - water/tea - 14|8- 2MAD
After staying around the same weight for two weeks I wanted to speed things up and lose a kilo this week, and I succeeded! So I’m happy with that.
This afternoon I’m breaking my fast whilst going out for lunch with family but its a restaurant with healthy options. 4 more kilo’s and I’ll see ‘the eighties’.
Week 15 of fasting, almost into week 16. Was running errands yesterday and decided to sit down at a restaurant for lunch. I haven’t been out in a while on my own, and ordered a chicken sandwich and french fries, decided on a side of corn rather than hushpuppies too.
The sandwich was so damn big lol, I cut it in half at the start and had planned to eat it all, but was honestly full when I was done with the first half. It felt weird, but good. I got the rest to go and will be having it for lunch today.
I don’t know how many calories it is unfortunately, as the restaurant did not have nutritional information available, which I thought was a requirement but only if you have more than 20 locations I guess. I didn’t like not having my calorie count, but I just went off my fullness feeling and didn’t feel the urge to eat anything the rest of the day besides a brownie as a dessert later on.
OMAD for weight loss, 12 weeks update.
M31 182cm ~6feet
SW:162.5kg/358lb
CW:137 kg/302lb
Minimal exercise but my work is physical (lots of standing and lifting things)
Amazing results so far. Way above my expectations. I have fully committed to this lifestyle now, haven’t had any cheat days and not planning on having any until GW 100kg/220lb which is still overweight but big milestone for me since I haven’t been under 100kg since 2010.
Some days I feel hungrier than others but I have been able to fight through it.
Obviously weight loss is starting to slow from now on but GW is definitely possible to reach in 2023, hopefully at one year anniversary in June. Or close to that.
Haven’t posted much here but reading this sub got me started and gives me motivation, thank you all <3

Day 4
16 hours of fasting.
Trying to lose weight to look good to help build relationships, get healthier to enjoy life and live longer and to try and reverse mental/brain damage from longcovid.
My starting weight was 240. I am now at 238.4. My goal is 160.
Rounding out the last hour of my 16 hour fast
Disappointed in only losing only .2 pounds.
Glad I toughed the fast out. Yesterday I almost had to extend my eating window. My last hour of the eating window is my lunch hour at work. It was a busy day for me yesterday and I almost didn’t make it. I had my last meal with about 10,15 minutes to spare. I couldn’t refill my Dr Pepper. 😭
My energy overall was higher yesterday during the morning and afternoon. But when I get home from work which is 4 hours into the fast I pretty much crash and I am asleep about an hour later.
Last night, almost threw in the towel again. Someone gave me some food and I even get to the point of washing my hands and getting ready to eat it when I just stuck in a ziplock bag and put it in the refrigerator for when I break my fast.
I will see what today brings….
Day7 of Week20, IF, 18/6
SW: 104kg/229lbs; CW: 89kg/196lbs; GW: 85kg/187lbs
Sleep schedule went nuts, so I didn’t have a “morning measurement” because I’ve managed to fall asleep well past 3 AM, and until then I was drinking a lot of water.
In any case, Monday will be a 24h+ fast, followed by 18/6 then another 24h, a 2MAD afterwards and the usual 48h and 2 days of 18/6 for the weekend.
Today’s menu was fake pizza and some pears for dessert. Honestly I’ve had them like 5 hours ago and I’m still feeling full :P
All things considering I’m still “high” on the knowledge that not only I kept my empty weight but even made a bit of progress, so I’ll just stick with this plan for now.
I hope everyone is having a relaxing Sunday, and ya’ll making the plans for the next week’s IF schedule! ;)
Day 6 of Week 13 (90 days in!)
When I started IF in June, I committed to 2 months before deciding if I would continue. 3 months in and 26 lbs down, I feel great. IF feels sustainable for the long-term. I’ve had break days and shortened windows from time to time, but I’ve been able to come back the next day and pick up again. I wish I’d known about this in my twenties.
6 days in - 16/8 - 4 days low-carb-ketoish/last 2 days not low carb at all due to work event where 2 of the meals were: pizza and a local traditional meal, which is literally fried dough. Still I kept until the minute my food windows all days (YAY). I feel a bit bad, but tomorrow I’m continuing as initially planned and considering these two days as cheat ones/force majeure.
Type: Water and coffee
Context: Started augustus 30th, trying to see how this works.
Length: 16:8
Why: Weight loss
Notes: accidentally broke my fast an hour early with a cola at about 11:00, but didn’t have proper lunch until 13:00 while my fast normally ends at 12:00, bit of a weird day, back to normal tomorrow :-) started my fast at about 19:30 today, maybe I’ll make this one an hour longer, since I’ll probably be traveling and unpacking during most of ot anyway
