I started this on Saturday night. Only three under my belt, fasting from 6:45 pm to 10:45 am. Barely made it today and I’m unsure as to why this morning was so hard. I’m fasting from food. I am 5 feet 11 inches, female and weigh 240. I have had nine pregnancies and have three living children. I had to have a hysterectomy in my early thirties after I almost died after my last childbirth. My hormones are a mess, my body is a mess, I eat all day long and into the night, even waking up at 2 AM to eat mac and cheese.
Is it possible that I feel better already? What’s with that? This is such a supportive community. I’m so glad to have found it.

Hi all! I am attempting a full day fast again today. I tried last week and I made it to like 10pm and then couldn’t take the hunger anymore. If that happens again today, I’ll break the fast like I did last time. For me, I think it is about training my body to not get so hungry with the fasting, and a successful all day fast might take a few tries. But that’s alright! I’ve got time! I hope to check in tomorrow with success, but maybe I’ll fail and that’s okay too.
