Day1 of Week23, IF, 18/6

SW: 104kg/229lbs; CW: 88kg/194lbs; GW: 85kg/187lbs

Today is 88,1kg which is up from the 86,3kg of yesterday which is to be expected upon refeeding from the 48h fast.

Well that and I got offered kimchi with rice. Which means rice will add a massive amount of water weight, but I had to have it because that was the only way I could choke down the kimchi for diplomatic purposes.

It was weird, because all the kimchi recipes I’ve seen had cabbage in them, this had none of it so while the flavor was okay, the consistency and texture was like NOPE xD

Na-ah, not eating that thing again. But might try my own version of it later.

In any case, gaining more water weight is expected by tomorrow and after pretty much every meal this week. I’ll be experimenting with low-carb bread because I’d like to have tested options to deal with the occasional craving for a grilled sandwich or toast.

Toasted tortillas are really good replacements in general but sometimes it is good to have the texture of bread.

Before IF, I never thought that I’ll categorize toasts or toasted sandwiches as comfort food but I sure do now xD

On rolling 24h fast now, that’ll end today after work where the bread testing shall commence.

Pollens are gone for now so starting tomorrow I’ll start again with the weight training.

It is MONDAY, good folk. New week, New opporunities! ;)

Day 9. 16:838M, 5.5. SW: 82kg, CW: 80.7kg, GW: 70kg.

9 days in and I can manage the hunger much better than a few years ago when I tried this. Gym is going great, also managing to cycle and run a little as I recover from injury. Lifts and strength are going up and my jeans feel a bit looser! Very happy but a long way to go.

I’ve woken up early from a work night shift feeling very tired today, I’ve had 4 and a half hours sleep and I feel rough.

Still. I will commit to another day of OMAD. 7pm meal time at 2000cal

Looking to hit the gym in 2 hours too after a couple of black coffees.

LETS GO! THE TIME IS NOW. CONSISTENCY IS KEY

New week off to a great start so far, d1 w2 omad 23-1. Gotta love not being hungry or constantly thinking about food. Working my way up to try a 48 hour fast, hopefully next week or the one after. Still getting random headaches but I had them when eating bad food too so it’s probably not related. Pretty much first time in my life I’m falling asleep quickly as well. SW: 94kg, CW: 78.7kg, GW: 50kg.

Day 3336/fSW: 188 lbs CW: 183 lbs GW: 140 lbs

I was doing 16/8 but just switched to 2/5 (2 days a week of only 500 calories) bc I’m not losing quite as quick as I’d like, just under 1 pound a week. I’d like to be closer to 2 lbs a week at least while I’m starting.

Anyway, I feel GREAT. My belly has gone down noticeably, I rarely feel hungry, and most of the high-carb things I used to crave every day aren’t very appealing to me anymore. Also I started this journey when I started getting arthritis in my knees this year, and I can already feel less pressure on my knees!

Day 1 of Week 6

M/29/6’0” - SW: 230 lbs, CW: 220.4 lbs, GW: 200 lbs

16/8 daily at least, some days longer. Fast w/ water and black coffee

Spent the weekend with some of my oldest friends, and the result was my unhealthiest 2 days since I’ve started IF. Luckily I was awesome with my diet and exercise most of the week before that, so I’m still down over 1/2 a pound. Back at it this week :)

Answer

Day 1 week 1.

I’ve been a “big girl” most of my adult life, but I’ve never tried a diet or eating plan before. Well, I found IF via Reddit and I’ve been so impressed with everyone’s successes that I spent some time reading up on it and I think it might work for me.

So, here goes!

I’m 39 F, 179cm tall. SW: 108kg GW: 85kg

Doing 14:10 to start with.
