Today will be OMAD
Just a good old fashioned OMAD probably around 8pm due to being busy this evening going to a boxing class.
Pork shoulder steaks, ramen noodles, cabbage with olive oil and some crumpets with peanut butter.
Time to break my 70kg plateau! Let’s gooooooo!
Day2 of Week21, IF, 18/6
SW: 104kg/229lbs; CW: 89kg/196lbs; GW: 85kg/187lbs
Today 88,2kg down from 88,7kg of yesterday.
The 24+h fast ended up being 28h, that I broke with a very fine onion soup with quick-steamed carrots, followed by a coffee and sugar-free pear-muffins, and some popcorn while watching a movie. It was a rather simple and yet satisfying OMAD.
18/6 today, then 24h tomorrow with some slack on the end of the day, followed by an OMAD breakfast on Thursday morning right before entering the 48h fast.
Pollen situation is weird, because it still is messing with sleep and breathing but it stopped irritating my eye for some reason, despite concentration still hitting the extreme mark.
Work is less stressful but still far from anything normal.
Let’s kick them IF plans in gear and get some progress, folk!;)

I’m starting to really get into it and am able to stay away from food for longer periods every day. Feeling good in general besides cold I caught. Gains already visible - nothing can stop me now :).
Day 1 of Week 14
My plan for an early dinner worked out and I was able to come home from my meeting last night without feeling the need to eat anything more. However, my calorie intake was only at 1,000 (about 500 below my normal mark). I’m curious if I’ll make it til 12PM or break a little early today. Either way I’ll be sure to get my calories in with a focus on good protein. Have a great day all!
I reached 3 weeks of 16:8 today!!!! The hardest part during the first half was dealing with the crankiness. Now it all feels pretty much like smooth sailing. I’ve even thrown in a few 18:6s or 17:7s because I felt fine after reaching 16!
Week 6 - 2MAD
I’ve noticed that I’m getting so full so quickly now.
I’ve not even finished my salad today (goat cheese, lentils, sweet potatoe, green beans) and I’m already full for hours. It’s a nice effect, but I’m also checking if I still eat enough calories this way.
I think that tomorrow I’m going to try OMAD for the first time.
Middle of Week 10
Somehow without even meaning to I have transitioned into OMAD in the past week. Not sure exactly how I feel about that as I know it’s not sustainable for me long term, but it has helped move me past my mini plateau and has knocked off 2.5 pounds in the past week. So I will likely keep that up for the next few weeks until it’s not necessarily feasible anymore (my living and working situation is changing).
My biggest motivation at the moment is that I’m only 3 pounds away from being considered “overweight” instead of “obese”. I would really like to hit that mark before I move, if only for symbolic reasons, but at the end of the day my body will do what it will so it’s nice to even get close in under 3 months.
One wrinkle that has been introduced into my weight loss situation is that two days ago I started stimulant medication for ADHD. On the one hand it has made OMAD easier the past few days as I haven’t felt the hunger pains I normally do after \~18 hours. On the other hand, I know I need to be careful and make sure I am actually getting enough food since my appetite may take a little while to adjust.
Day 2, week 2 IF. Last week was 14:10, easing into this week with 15:9, usually go longer if im able but training my mind and body to fast.
SW 230, CW 229, GW 120-135 depending on muscle build. Learning how my body responds when I break fast, trying to focus on healthy selections with high protein and drinking more water.

Day 3 of Week 2, IF 16:8, SW 320lb CW 313 GW 190 (weighing only once per week)
So far, I’m surprised with how immediately easy this is. The hunger and thoughts about food just went completely away. I’m not even first getting hungry until around 11 or 12, and then again later near the end of my window. In fact, my biggest problem is remembering to eat early enough at night.
I’m currently in hour 20 of an unintentional fast (basically just forgot to eat dinner last night because I wasn’t hungry) and I’m thinking of seeing how long I can keep it going as an experiment.
OMAD 5 days a week2MAD 2 days a week (for the weekends) I’m looking to lose lose weight (was 250, now 234! After 3 weeks😀). Also, Learning that IF has made food more enjoyable and I actually crave Whole Foods now, who would have thought!
Restarting IF after health scares and surgery took me out a year ago. Today will be OMAD. Meal planned for today is well seasoned chicken breast and veggies, protein yogurt with granola and a nice hot coffee with cream.

I’m finding the cooler weather naturally makes me want to eat more. This is the hardest IF has been for me so far. Trying to overcome since I know it’s entirely mental/emotional but whew this week is a struggle!
