OMAD: no cals in fasting window. I can’t remember how many days lol maybe 13. I’m doing this to become lean, not obese and get some vitality back.
Today I have walked almost two miles and my back did not hurt. My foot didn’t go like dead wood and no ibuprofen for days. Holy SHIT. Inflammation is no joke.
Looking for advice!
Completed a 37 hour water fast at 11:00am. This is my first attempt at fasting and I’m trying to switch to OMAD.
I broke my fast with oatmeal, Greek yogurt, eggs, and white rice. After a few minutes I got SUPER sleepy. I wanted to add in a protein shake but I was too full.
Was I so sleepy because I ate too many carbs? Does anyone have suggestions for getting more protein other than from meat (I eat meat, just not every day)?
Day 12 of OMAD - water tea coffee, 23:1.
SW: 200 lbs CW: 190 lbs GW: 147 lbs, 31 F, 5’9”
Pleased with the scales this morning, but anticipating a slow down now.Had a rubbish night’s sleep last night, but oddly wired today. Usually I’d be snoozing with the kind of tossy-turny night I had but I’m ready for an exam this afternoon! Mental focus alone is worth it.
Day 3 of 16:8
SW 190, GW 155. 5’10 F.
Today I had to extend my fasting window to 18 so I can accommodate a late dinner. I’m feeling good so far! I’m avoiding my scale till next Friday but am tracking CICO.
Feeling much better so far than last time I attempted IF! I’m hoping to carry the motivation into the weekend where I struggle with snacking.
Calories. 16:8. 8pm-12pm. Lose weight, feel better, deal with bad relationship with food. 11 weeks.
Going great so far, down 3 stone (42 lbs, 19kg) since the beginning of November. First week the scales showed an increase rather than a decrease. Bit of a gut punch but it was minimal in grand scheme, got through xmas period with no gain and am getting back into gym routine now so just a small blip. Considering another 24 hour fast within the next month however, wanna try to do em at least once a month this year or every second month.
