F23, 5’11”, SW: 246.9, CW: 243.5, GW: 240 by Feb 28
I decided to make smaller goals of losing 5lbs a month because the goal weight I had was my final weight and it felt so intimidating. My last weigh in was on Jan 30 at 246.9 and today I weighed in at 243.5! I know it is water weight, but it is so nice to see the scale go down instead of up. I hope to absolutely smash my goal weight of 240 this month! If I can establish a pace of 5lbs a month, then I will be my end goal weight in like a year or so. I’m so excited!
For context, I got foot surgery twice last year, and that compounded with bad eating habits and low exercise caused me to rocket up to my highest weight ever. I remember being 180 and starving myself so I wouldn’t get fat. It’s crazy that I just ended up giving up and now I’m almost 250. But I’m actually a more stable person now even though I weigh more. I like my life more and now I am excited to tackle this as a positive goal instead of hating myself and trying to starve. Also I almost passed out at one point from it so obviously it wasn’t worth it in any way.
