Hi I have been doing 20:4 fast since Sunday. Cycled 20km on Sunday and ran 10km on Mon, Tues, Wednesday. Today I will rest and just go for a walk at lunch time. Hoping to fast for 48hr after tonight’s meal at 8ish. I’m a male, with a stubborn belly stuck at 36inches for the last 6 months. Was 42 inches 18 months ago but plateaued. So I’m hoping IF will sort me out and kick my met rate up. Aim is to go down to 31 inches belly. Once achieved then hoping to build a six pack and gain my confidence back.

Day 8 OMAD.

After two days of “failures,” I made it 20 hours today. I ate a Korean cold noodle dish called naengymon with 4 dumplings, and then had two donuts and an apple. 😬 Not exactly super healthy, but it was about 1600 calories total and I felt beyond satisfied. Now 2 hours into my next fast. Tomorrow is a big holiday where I live, so I’ll probably have my “one meal” after a 16-hour fast.

Today 89,4kg, compared to yesterday’s 89,6kg. I consider it a holding pattern :P

Finally entering the 48h fast, that is now my problem-free zone.

No meals to plan, no shopping to be done, just waiting furiously.

Not sure how my empty weight will turn out, but I’m hoping at best to maintain the previous one.

Any further weight loss will be considered to be a bonus :P

Work situation remains meh. Feeling depressed is not helping my efforts obviously but it also makes it difficult to wait out better times.

Pollen concentration is now once more extreme, so still waiting for the times when I can finally work out.

We’ve turned the corner toward the weekend, keep to your plans and results will come!

end of the week is coming up! i have nothing else to say.. just been chugging along. feeling joint pain, but it’s only at like.. a 4 or 5? so it’s not bad. i’m usually sitting between 2-4 anyways, depending on the day. i’m gonna take it easy on my walk tonight. it’s cooling down a lot, so that’s nice! i love fall.

It’s going great so far.

I am doing 12 hours of dry fasting and then I will switch to a water fast with black coffee or tea for the remaining 8 hours.

I’ve found this helps when I’m getting back into the intermittent fasting routine.

I have been successful with IF in the past so I’m just starting back again hoping to hit a new target weight by the end of the year.

Today is a day where I hate IF. I’m struggling with constipation and not seeing much loss despite being really hungry recently. I am extremely stressed out for many reasons, but can’t use food as stress relief. I really wanted a pastry this morning, but my window doesn’t open until 2pm. It’s just so hard sometimes. I don’t drink, smoke, do any drugs, etc. Without food I am stuck basically just being sad and angry and stressed and just have to accept that I guess. I really miss the time in my life when I could eat copious amounts of anything I wanted and not gain any weight.

3 days in 16:8 - low carb/keto-ish. Currently have the keto flu and I intend on going early to bed as my head hurts even after chugging 4l of water/coffee/vitamins/electrolytes, BUT I kept my eating window and the macros/calories for the day. Tomorrow will be a better day. And each and every day afterwards :)

Hi! Everyone I’m back! 23 day streak after falling off my 31 day streak for almost a month. I do a variety of fasts throughout the week and depending on where I’m at in my cycle. This week has been 17:7, with the weekend being OMAD days. I haven’t weighed myself but I feel great. This time around I have been prioritizing zero calorie electrolytes and it has made the process feel way more doable.

Type of Fast: Second day of 16:8 (~12-8PM)

Goal: Hoping to lower my BF% to 25%, my limbs are around 26-29% but I have the most fat stored around the abdomen.

Experience: Struggled yesterday mentally but somehow managed to break fast after 17 hours, I usually finish my last meal of the day around 7PM so holding out to past 12PM the next day was quite tough. I found that being in the office and engaged in meetings the whole day help pass time and not feel the hunger. Usually WFH most days so I’m making sure I stay hydrated so I know it’s not thirst.

Context: I’m 24F, 169cm

About 3 weeks into IFMonday to Friday I do 22 hour fasts with a 2 hour window, basically OMADWeekends I try to get at least 12-14 hours of fasting inDown 18 pounds which is nice, feel in control of my eating which is incredible!
