hello hello! day 31 of 20:4! yay! i weigh tomorrow so we’ll see how i’m doing on weight…
today i ate a can of chili, because chili, but really it just made me crave the chili i cook lol. i get that from almost all canned/frozen food i can personally make, it just never tastes as good! convenient, though. if i were richer or had the energy & drive to cook every day, i would. but i don’t! so canned foods for me, on occasion. and adding chili to the future menu… i know processed foods are bad for u etc etc, but sometimes they’re the only option, other than not eating lol.
happy weekend! it’s almost september! i’m still recovering from my last run (wish that’d go by faster!) so i’m off on my walk. i try to put 5km (3ish miles?) under my belt every day, which i know ain’t much, but eh. better than nothin!
Week 4 day 2 - losing weight
After two not so great days I did really well today. Someone on this sub said that a few bad days don’t weigh up against all those good days. So that has been my motivation. Today I swam, cleaned the house and soon I’m going to the store for my groceries for next week.
I had early dinner with cilbir, this is a really nice dish everyone should try it!
Day 7 of 16:8 fast. SW: 75.5 kg, CW: 74,4 kg GW: 55 kg
So far it’s going great! I’ve been feeling more energized and seeing results, although not as fast as when I was doing keto(I try not to compare it to that, because that was WILD and exhausting, getting me in health trouble). I’m maintaining a 500 kcal deficit and it’s been much easier than I thought! At least I think my tdee(1700) is correct and that it is indeed 500 kcal. I’m physically disabled, my disability shows as lowered muscle mass and specialists told me I probably need less for maintaining than people without this diagnosis, I’ve been estimated at roughly between 1500~1700 kcal. I’ve just recently stopped breastfeeding which allowed me up to 1900~2000 kcal for maintenance (it was lovely haha). With now three small kids it’s been so much easier than I thought to not eat until lunchtime, I simply don’t have time for breakfast. It’s been more of a challenge not eating after 8pm, because sometimes one of the kids are awake and demanding my attention just as I sit down for the last meal of the day.
So far so good! I dread plateauing but I’ll worry about that when I get there.
