Made it through my long fast yesterday! For dinner I made Brussels sprouts au gratin and chicken with sauted shallots and garlic. Y’all I think this was the best dinner I ever made. I’m kind of a picky eater and never tried shallots before but I really like them better than onions.
I was crying like a mf when cutting them up but man, this meal is going into the rotation. I used half and half instead of full heavy cream as well to cut the calories. The portion I made came out to 491 calories, and I have another portion for today.
Week 7 - water/tea
Gained 2 kilos in one day yesterday! And today it was still there. I know it is waterweight, but it’s still annoying.Today another challenge: visiting an all you can eat sushi restaurant with friends. So I guess no standing on the scale for me tomorrow ;)
I’ll just put my bets on next week.
ps. visited my old dad, he grew up poor and without food so he always gives me a big bag of food to bring home with things like peanut butter, cookies, honey, chocolate etc. It’s very nice of him but I’ll just give most away I think…
