Close to a 3kg loss shown on the scales today! It may or may not stay but it was still good to see the number! The trend is generally down so I am happy. (I’m only averaging 15hr fast at the moment - going well, slowly slowly).

I’m a few hours away from ending my third day of IF.. 18/6 7pm-1pm. Not really counting calories at the moment but eating pretty healthy. Just trying to take this first week getting used to things and be a bit more strict next week. Using almond milk in my coffee until I can ween myself to black coffee.. I have 1 cup during the morning in my fasting window. Hopefully next week I’ll take to the black coffee better.

38 hours into a 42 hour fast (3x42 ADF) so today is an eating day! Yesterday was tough so I drank a LOT of fasting friendly liquids: black coffee, more black coffee, sparkling water, hot tea, more sparkling water. The wave of hunger eventually subsided but it wasn’t easy- some fasting days are just tougher than others.

I committed myself to this plan through next Wednesday so I have hidden the scale until then. I made short-term goals and my first one is to lose 5 pounds by March 25 (we’re attending a wedding that night). Hoping ADF can get me there!

Day 50 of 16:8 water/black coffee only, half hour left until breakfast (kodiak protein pancake with peanut butter), and the past two weeks my weight has just been kinda bobbing up and down within the same 1-2 pounds, but ultimately slowly going down weekly. I’ve been having my macros at 50% carbs, 25% fat, 25% protein and that’s always worked for me (been doing IF on/off for 3 years for different reasons), but I’m considering perhaps 40% carbs, 30% fat, 30% protein? Add some more eggs and nuts, maybe. But when I tried reducing carbs by 5% and adding that to protein a month or so ago, my weight stalled for weeks before I took it back, and then the weight started coming off again, so I’m a little apprehensive. idk, also wondering if I should just keep doing what I’ve been doing and simply be patient.
