Morning everyone!
Type : fast from food. Water, black coffee, tea, electrolyte minerals, lemon juice ok.
Length : 20:4 or thereabouts. I would do 24, but I want to work out this afternoon and I prefer to have a bit of protein and carb right before and after the workout.
Context : 12 hours in, wrapping up at 3 pm.
Why : Give my digestive system a break, body fat management, autophagy, mental clarity
Notes : Another chilly, rainy, dank day here in the Granada area! Working out and electrolytes will help keep the chills away. I’m really happy I came back to IF.
Fasting from food
24:1, on hour 16. Dinner at 4. Shoutout to my husband that didn’t realize he made dinner plans at 4, during my eating window!
Tomorrow marks 3 weeks of OMAD- not one snack in between. I’ve been pretty proud of my willpower
In it for weight loss and vacation next month- lost another lb. So I’m down 11 now.
My son just got home from Army training Friday and told us yesterday that he may get deployed overseas. I thought it may stress me out and I’d want to eat. That wasn’t the case. I waited for my eating window and ate with the family.
Kids (18,20) are asking about breakfast, so I usually go and just get coffee.
