Hey hey! 34yo F 259lbs 5’2” here! Day 4 of 16:8. Kinda headachey today but not bad. Hunger is doable. Trying to up my water intake, and start and end eating window with high protein, high fat, low carb meals today! Yesterday my last meal of the day was cereal (raisin bran) and my stomach decided that was a bad choice, and I felt yucky for a few hours. Really learning to listen to my body. My goal is to lose weight, reset my metabolism, lower blood sugar/blood pressure issues. I also struggle with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and extreme brain fog so I’m hoping IF helps with that too.
My birthday is on Saturday, we are having my sons birthday party in the morning (his birthday is tomorrow) and going out for pizza in the evening with the family, so I’m going to have to figure that out. Do I just do a “cheat day” and start again on Sunday? Not planning on going crazy with foods but my eating window will probably be more than 8 hours that day. Plus there’s cake and pizza in one day so there’s that lol.
19 hours into another 36 hour fast (2 x a week). Been plateaued for about a month now within 1 pound of not being officially obese anymore and also breaking the 100KG barrier and it is starting to drive me a bit crazy.
I will be very frustrated if my weigh in tomorrow morning doesnt get me some progress on that front, Im taking care of business though and not going to change my path without another month or two of minimal results on the weight loss front. Have been drinking a little more lately (like 4 drinks a week instead of 2), and also I think I have gained some muscle (able to do more push ups and pullups), but still right now dropping fat is my goal so I may re-evaluate soon if that isnt happening.
