Day 11 of OMAD (started on the 1st of December), no planned end date.
I usually eat within an one hour window sometime between 1 and 4pm, low carb but not keto. Exercise 40-60 minutes on my stepper/stationary bike 5-6 times a week. Zero alcohol and low sugar intake.
Hoping to lose a dress size by New Year’s eve and be more confident with my body.
Going okay though wish it was faster (I know I know, it’s a marathon not a race), need to be more patient but I’m finding it quite easy and convenient (meal times no longer interrupt everything else), I sometimes struggle to meet the minimum calories requirements with one meal so might implement more liquid calories (dairy etc.). Bloating is gone!
28 M 5’7” (172 cms ) SW 304 lbs (139 kgs) CW: 291 lbs ( 132 kgs ).
Day 3 of 16:8 fast.
Trying to lose weight as I have a fatty liver. Restriction of calories made me lose weight since Nov 1St 40 ish days so far.
According to my body weight, age and activity, the apps suggest I eat 1,800 calories to lose weight fast.
My concerns with intermittent fasting is eating all those calories in 8 hour window, I’m always full thanks to protein, eggs and chicken.
Is it bad if I hit 1500 calories only? Would if have a bad affect down the road?
Re-Booting after almost a year of “here and there IF” I am thinking about starting on 16:8 or even 20:4, just curious, which one is better for jumpstarting IF 16 or 24?
Current stats:
>>Goal is to go down to 210- 205lbs
wish me luck, will be checking in ;)
