Having trouble sleeping and staying asleep. Kept waking up at 4 and shit but I’m all good now I guess. Just feeling weak so it seems that I’m going to have to resort to snake juice. (I hope it doesn’t taste like shit LOL.)
Lost 2.4 lbs since yesterday so that’s pretty exciting considering that I don’t lose weight easily and this is the first time I’m seeing such quick progress. (Usually it’d take me literal weeks for me to lose that much weight from water fasting but this time I’m utilizing an EC stack...not sure if the sub supports that but I did my research and it’s working so...)
Not looking forward to my morning cardio but of course I’m going to push through. It’s just that this is the first day that I’m not feeling optimistic and happy as soon as I wake up.
Still no signs of true hunger although I do start craving food when night time falls (always noodles and other Asian food 😩). My stomach is a little uncomfortable in the mornings and I’m not sure why. Drinking water feels uncomfortable for my stomach although my throat and head appareciate it.
EDIT: My body started freaking out. My heart was beating abnormally fast and I felt extremely nauseous so I decided it would be wise to break the fast. Ate a small piece of bread and immediately felt like throwing up...let this be a lesson to you guys to incorporate sodium early on in your fast instead of waiting until it’s too late. Currently lying down waiting for the feeling to pass.

Damn sorry to hear that. Was this your first water fast? I had similiar symptoms on my very first water fast years ago. I think it may have been because i was super dehydrated while i slept and also my body was in shock because it was the very first time without food.
Currently on day 4 of my water fast and i feel fantastic! Trying to make it to 30 days!

Yea 3 days in I was craving ice cream, ended up breaking fast with eggs, bacon, and chicken. I was also going out with some buddies that day so I figured keto foods would help. That was 8 days ago. Started fasting immediately after my meal, and the plan is to go as long as I feel well enough to continue. Down about 13 lbs.

Sorry to hear you broke it, but 3 days is pretty good. Don’t worry, you can go longer next time, it gets easier with practice. It is freaky when that happens… Next time I would break it with some broth or pickles or kimche or something else.
Not being able to sleep - yeah that happened to me. Too much energy! Which is pretty cool actually. I would just get up and start doing chores or something in the middle of the night.
