Just FYI: 5’7” F, 22yrs, starting weight 199.6. I’ll be posting b&a’s when I’m done, but I’m just so pumped I’m halfway through day four and I feel pretty good!
Previously, I have fasted for 6 days and I was lightheaded, nearly blacking out, and had absolutely no energy. I think the key differences have been:
-supplementing with Himalayan salt
-not drinking diet soda
-not chewing gum
-ensuring I’m not drinking too much or too little water
-not exercising
I’m much more educated on fasting now than I was a few years ago, and in a much better mental state. I will probably pick up some magnesium and potassium today, as I usually supplement with magnesium and I now know how important electrolyte balance is for safety and energy levels. I want to document the 6 days it takes to fully break the fast as well, if anyone would be interested in that!

Congrats on making it thus far! Yes, supplementing is very important! I have learned that the hard way too! Please keep posting. Fasting alongside others is motivating. If you plan on doing future fasts, I would love a fasting buddy.
I am 23/F btw. I have a five more days left on my fast. I am on day 11 going till day 16. I plan on doing multiple 6-7 day fasts till Christmas so I can surprise my family!
