The average human, when not consuming anything over a 24 hour period, will lose about 1-1.5 lbs (.45-.68kg), mostly in fat. Women tend to lose less than men do, due to hormones, and usually lose about a pound a day.
This is with no food intake whatsoever. With a refeed every two days, progress is going to be slowed. What you’ve probably lost so far is water weight and previous meals that were still in your gut. If the weight loss suddenly slows down, its probably because you’re out of water and toilet feed to lose. Make sure to manage your expectations.
Water is not your enemy here, and neither are your electrolytes, vitamins, or minerals. Make sure to keep up on the intake with all of these if you want long-term success.
That being said, making a sudden, massive change to your diet is very likely to lead to a failed run. If you manage to do it, props to you!
