Day 8 and still hungry

I keep reading posts over and over that say after day 3 for some and day 5 for most they lose their appetite. On night 7 I went to bed fighting hunger pains and on morning 8 woke up with them. The longest fast I’ve done prior was 3 days long. I’m going for 21 this time. I read that after day 10 the body really starts breaking down the visceral and stomach fat. Thats part of what I’m after. I’m also changing my diet from animal products to a whole foods plant based one. I wanna change up my microbiome and really heal some of the damage I’ve done over the years. I have dreamed about doing this for a long time. I secretly dream of going 30-40 days. All will depend on how I feel day by day after day 21. So far, I’m grinding through each day. Part of what motivates me was surpassing the terrible headache that started day 2 which went on consistently for 2 full days. On day 8, the headache is back. Not as piercing but fluctuating mild to medium. Could be some die off symptoms. I don’t want to repeat any of this. I just want to push through but I’m wondering if it actually does get easier. For those who might wonder, I am supplementing sole water as well as no salt. I like to end my night with magnesium as it aids in my restless leg syndrome that always strikes at bedtime. I do drink tea. Bengal spiced from celestial. It does have stevia in it. I read up on stevia and the science goes both ways on how it effects the insulin levels. It’s my joy in life at this time so I hope it has nothing to do with my constant, continual hunger. If anyone out there has had a similar experience or knows something that could help, drop a message below.

Anything with sweetener in it always made me feel like I was starving. When I cut that out completely and went water and plain tea only (I don’t drink coffee), the hunger went away. And headaches = low sodium (and sometimes dehydration, but usually low sodium). Nice job so far! 😃
