Days when you are demotivated

Hello what do you people do on the days you are not at all motivated to exercise or anything. Today I will complete my two weeks of 18:6. I am trying to do with moderate exercise also. But today I am just counting hours minutes till I can eat and am just sitting and can’t get myself to exercise. Maybe it’s Monday blues 🤷‍♀️

I love saving some “distractions” for when I really need it. My list for today includes running to Target, going to the ATM, even taking a shower helps distract and delay. Instead of doing those things early in my fasting window, I save them up!

I also drive through a coffee shop some afternoons and get a black, decaf cup of coffee. Just the act itself feels like I am getting a treat.

Last trick that works for me: I schedule work meetings toward the end of my fasting window!

do you have any hobbies? I crochet and am learning to sew and can use these to distract myself sometimes. I have a very affectionate dog that loves to go on walks too. Maybe it’s an issue of reframing your mind and finding the things you like. I enjoy going to the gym even though I look awful and need to lose 50 lbs. There are plenty of days I want to sleep in, but I just make myself go and I’m always glad I went.

I also have a motivation playlist on youtube of bodybuilders and other stuff that I use to get me pumped on the days I want to give up go to bojangles and eat frozen custard.
