Did not make it to 72 hours

Day 1 was a breeze with no problems. Day 2 started out good, but went downhill. I broke my fast after 59 hours. I know what my mistake was. I didn’t drink my electrolytes when I should have and it was hard to recover even after I took them. Plus I had a job interview and did not want to feel faint on the drive and during the interview. I will try again next month!

If gonna do a job, it’s better to do it part way than not at all! I’d still pat yourself on the back since 59 hours is amazing! You’ve got all the time in the world to try another 72 and now you’re wiser!

Fasting is like a muscle. Next time will be easier. And the next even easier! Your body had also ramped up the production of human growth hormone by hour 59, which improves everything in your body made of protein. Which is everything. Lol There are tons more benefits from fasting than just weight loss, so great job! No failure here!

It’s harder if you launch into a fast from a typical high carb diet because you suffer carb withdrawal symptoms. If you haven’t already, switch to a keto very low carb diet. Fasting after you’ve become accustomed to that is much easier imho.
