I’ll start. True story. Ok, been reading the Bible. During the 6th day of a fast, I went outside to cut my nails with a nail clipper. Then a lady on the street and her grandson asked me for directions. After I gave them directions, went back to cutting the nails. But there was a yellow drop on my right hand thumb. Not sure why but I immediately tasted it and it tasted like mustard. Went back inside to listen to my Bible lesson audios when I heard “the mustard seed”. Then all fell in place. Matthew 17:20 - “And Christ said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say into this mountain: remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you”.
Guys, do you grasp how deep this is ? I don’t think I quite understood it all just yet. Anyway, just wanted to share this with you, to perhaps help you build your faith too. We understand so little of our spiritual life. God is real, get close to him. Love ❤️:)

Fasting has been used in religious contexts for thousands of years, sometimes to ‘induce’ religious experiences. Look at the fasting practices in Hinduism who use it to get closer to enlightenment. Judaism, Buddhism, Islam, Christianity all have fasting in their stories and practices historically. However if you start having hallucinations, you should probably break your fast. Just be careful.
