Doing a 4-12am

I’ve started intermittent fasting doing a 4pm -12 am I’ve been trying to do about 1600 calories a day. I’m not strict with that only the times I start eating and stop eating. My question I guess is does it still work without a strict calorie intake.

Calories in calories out (cico) will always be important no matter your eating window. I feel you can be a little less strict on calorie amt as long as you’re eating Whole Foods that are actually satiating as it will help you stay full therefore will help you eat less in your window
