Hi Guys,
I have done 2 Dry fasts, one was 64 hours and aiming for 72 hours, however... woke up in the middle of the night and decided to enjoy what felt like the fountain of youth from my fridge, this was 3 months ago, and One I am in the middle of right now. I am at 48 hours currently.
I had a sauna session yesterday night and ill have another one soon I feel like I am in a cognitive high right now and honestly feels like a great state to be in, I woke up not feeling tired at all, unlike other days where it can take an hour or more to get out of the sleep mode.

My mouth is the only issue... I am wondering if this discomfort will disappear after doing a few dry fasts and becoming more adapted to it. Just that sense of thirst and slight discomfort that is annoying, oh and heaps of Saliva. It worsens and comes less noticeable throughout the day but is still the biggest hindrance. I would genuinely do this on a weekly basis (be open to trying) if this "sense" of thurst dissipates.
The reason I am open to this is we as a species have most likely gone without water for days on end more often than not.
Feel free to comment on dry fasting even if you don't have an answer, always nice to read while in the middle of a fast.

I’ve always heard it said that feeling good with a clear head is what we’re to feel by default but that the stress of modern life and our bodies’ accumulation of harmful chems impede this feeling so it makes sense that once we clean out our bodies that part of us becomes apparent. I’ve definitely had that thought during periods of fasts or other experiences.

I believe it is our natural state - society has become accustomed to being comfortable, but we forget that people didn’t/don’t always have access to food and water 24/7. Not to mention there are so many health myths and lies about food and water, what we “need” which is a big money maker in disguise
