It can be done but I dont believe going that long with the kind of activity level your talking about would be possible. I’d imagine after day 8, driving would be real dicey. Might pass out at work too.
What if you worked and drove the first 5 to 7 days or until you feel its unsafe then take time off work and take it easy the remaining days? You could also split it into two long fasts, like two 6 to 8 day fasts.
Also depending on activity levels weight loss can begin to decrease and stabalise a bit, the deeper you get into it.
Breathing exercises, meditation, Qi gong and stretching has boosted my energy while dry fasting and made me feel more relaxed during some of the restless parts of the process. Might want to incorporate practices like these if your going to go that long. 16 days is over half a month. You’d probably feel reborn after that. Hope you can heal whatever afflicts you.
I do not believe it is realistic. I also don’t believe there are many people that have made it that far. I cannot make it past 4 days- even if I was just laying in bed. I’m not even sure I could make 12-16 days even if it was going to save my life. I’m skeptical that everyone is capable of that long of a dry fast while physically exerting themselves. There are those freaks of nature that can conquer crazy things though. I do not believe you should or would be able to drive at that point.
If you try a lengthy dry fast, I’d love to hear your experience.
