Day 1:
Start weight 173 lbs. For the first day I went out with a group of people to do curling. Everyone there was eating food during break and my mouth was just watering because I still had the hunger in me. I managed to avoid temptation and when I got back to my house later in the day I took an ice bath until it was time for bed.
Day 2:
Sleep is always the most challenging. I feel really hot and find it hard to sleep. My dreams are very vivid, sometimes I’ll wake up randomly at night and also early in the morning. After waking up I got into an ice bath to cool down my body. Throughout the day a variety of emotions came up: anger, sadness, restlessness. Time also slowed down for me, 1 day felt like forever as I’m not stimulated at all and 5 minutes of meditation felt like 30 minutes. For the most part I took ice baths and rested.
Day 3:
Woke up and took a ice cold bath, this one felt brutal as my body already felt really cold so afterwards I took a hot shower. My emotions were the challenging aspect of the fast. As the longer I fast the slower time feels and my emotions are magnified. Extreme bouts of anger and sadness compounded my mind. Nonetheless I just relaxed all day. I also might mention that throughout the fast I would feel vibrations in my lower dantien and my mind would be thinking about sex a lot. I presume this is due to wanting to escape the uncomfortable feelings I was having through pleasure since I can no longer get it through food. I also had a zero tolerance for people’s bullshit and would call people out and not be afraid to speak my mind.
Day 4:
I woke up and broke my fast with 100% pure baking soda half a teaspoon in water (sip for an hour), coconut water 1 cup over next 2 hours, 1 cup carbonated water sip for 1 hour, feed yourself with Kettle and fire bone broth & magnesium sulphate and potassium chloride pills for 7 days of recovery. For the next 2 to 3 weeks no complex sugars (icecream, soda, candy, cookies). End weight 161.8 lbs.

For some reason I can’t get past 2 days on a water fast :( but I’ve done 400 hours on fast 23/1 eat and fast 48/1 hr eat. Smoothies and salad
I’m going to try the soft dry fast starting tomo.
Lost 12lbs in 12 days. Not as fast as I expected.
183 now want to be 173 by next week as I was last year this day and Goal 145lbs by May ..
But would like it sooner.
