I've been IF/keto for a few months now and undertook both for mental clarity. Can anyone explain in lamens terms why exactly I feel so much better? I'm so happy with the results, so curious as to why following this lifestyle has improved my overall mood and wellbeing so much. Side note- I realize this is a simple search away ok Google, but looking for an explanation from those with experience.

There’s also some multifaceted aspects that get under considered. You’re just not focused on food, the next meal, prepping, cooking, cleaning-up, etc all the time. That’s a lot of mental bandwidth for other things in our lives.

I’d argue that’s been more impactful, at least for me, than any ‘fat adaption’ ‘hormones’ physiological change. Though I do think that being more mindful of essential nutrition has improved my day to day energy and such.
