Today is the end of my third week fasting. I started this journey on a whim -- every time I put food in my mouth I just didn't feel good. My wife said "maybe you should fast," and that's what I did. I started at 208lbs and this morning I was 185.6lbs. I feel great. I've run at least once every week for thirty minutes and I go to Tae Kwon Do once a week for an hour. This morning I started a calisthenics routine with my wife and it felt really good.
My head is clear, my sinuses have cleared and stay clear, my mind is clear and I have desires to be great again. I love fasting.
My biggest struggle is when I cook dinner for the family. Yesterday I made sausage and gravy with biscuits for breakfast and just had to take a bite of the biscuit. I chewed it up, spit it out, and rinsed my mouth out. It was so good. I made them from scratch with buttermilk and beef tallow instead of butter.
Anyway, I'm on this journey as long as my body supports it. Mostly this is about self-control, but definitely with an aim towards releasing a lot of fat I've collected over the last three or four years. Here's to another week! Good luck on your own journey!

Wow that’s incredible!! You didn’t prepare your body or anything for the fast? I’m impressed. Seriously. I can barely make it through a 72 hour fast but I’m doing rolling 72’s and it’s been ok so far. I’m doing it for weight loss. I’ve got about forty pounds to lose. Best of luck to you!
