Extremely strong cravings for ramen?

While on the 3rd day of what was supposed to be a 5 day fast, I started craving instant ramen noodles so bad that I had to watch those mukbangs of people eating ramen noodles and imagine how good it would taste. I have no idea what has gotten into me...I like ramen but i wouldn't say it's my favorite food on the planet for me to be craving it so badly. I know that the first assumption would be that my sodium levels are low, but that is not the case. I think it's more of a texture-of-the-noodles thing. Does anyone have any recommendations on how to overcome it and keep on with my fast?

Answer

No advice on how to overcome it, but I have crazy cravings too when I have extended fasts.

I absolutely detest refried beans, but I can recall having a crazy craving for a bean burrito on one of my 5 day fasts.

My guess is it’s my body telling me it will even accept food I hate if I will please just break the fast.

Answer

Maybe a list ditch effort by your body to consume any carb you might be familiar with. Report back if you still feel this tomorrow. Day 4 (never been there myself) i hear is when you typically stop hard craving.

How high was your carb intake before this fast?
