Work it out mathematically. Probably go keto/carnivore a couple days to get rid of the water weight initially and do a 72hr fast and see what weight you lose during that fast. Be conservative with your estimation and see how much you’ll need to fast, how much you can eat on non-fasting days and see how much exercise you will be able to do realistically. Long walks (15km+) whilst fasted will burn fat like nothing else. Not sure how much it will help, but your growth hormone sky rockets after a few days fasting, so I like to do a Dorian Yates-style workout when I come off a fast (a few hours after eating) to theoretically utilise this and maybe add a bit of muscle. Plus, make sure you have a way to stop yourself from relapsing and stuffing yourself like a pig. Obviously take what I say with a pinch of salt, I’m speaking from self experience and just watching YouTube videos like Cole and other fitness people.
Realistically, just go for it and make sure you have a decent framework set out so you know what you are doing (and stick with it and don’t spend all your time planning). I hope you reach your goals though, good luck.
You are on the road to an eating disorder. I get this is a subreddit for an unconventional approach to weight loss, but your preposition is wack. Half that. Shoot for half that. If it’s 10 lbs more… Just be pleasantly surprised. Along the lines of 12-18 months this is more of a possibility
Cole would say it’s doable and not unhealthy. If you are serious about losing the weight, reach out to him directly for coaching.
I’m pretty surprised by the number of people who have replied saying its not safe/doable…it’s almost as if they haven’t actually watched Cole’s videos.
Doing mostly low carb OMAD and throwing in some 48 hour fasts I was consistently able to lose 15 lbs per month. It would take an extreme amount of discipline and no cheating. Keep standing/walking to accelerate the process. The bigger you are, the quicker the results can come and that helps with motivation. I would go for 2 liters of snake juice per day and plenty of water if need be. You can do this, or come damn close… and damn close wouldn’t suck either. Go get ‘em, you will be glad you did .
I know you’re feeling desperate and frustrated. I’ve been there and it sucks. But please don’t use fasting as a quick fix. Do it slowly and be mindful of your cravings and be patient with yourself when you fail. You want lasting change and that requires reprogramming habits. It takes a while but you can totally do it.
