No personal experience, but The Charlie Foundation discusses the benefits of fasting on epilepsy. I believe their main focus is the keto diet to help with epilepsy, though.

Hopefully someone with some personal experience will chime in.
My neuro said that my experience is really my own, so don’t take my experience to mean you’ll find the same, but I pretty well haven’t had a single seizure since shortly aftering starting IF. Even stopped IF for a bit due to covid depression, and though I grew some little boobs, the seizures haven’t returned. Don’t seem to be happening in my sleep. I feel the change in my diet genuinely helped.
Had really only been experiencing a few simple partial and around one complex partial seizure each month, nothing more severe. I’ve also done pretty minimal long-form fasting, so no idea what would happen during a 7 day+ fast. Also should add that I spent my first two months on keto, that could have helped, but I stopped that just because it was too much of a hassle honestly.
