Fasting and Lipomas

Hey fasting friends, Maybe this has been answered before, but I am considering undertaking an extended fast to try and shrink or get rid of my lipomas. I have about ten grape-sized lipomas all over my body, and I have had a few of them surgically removed, but I'd like to try and do a serious fast as a kind of last-ditch effort to get rid of them. I have read some testimonials of people who have done extended fasts and claimed that their lipomas permanently disappeared afterwards, and I'm interested in testing this. I have done a 7 day water fast before, and made it through feeling pretty good, but I suspect that to really see results for lipoma size reduction, I'd need to aim for 2 - 3 weeks. Doing a 21 day water fast makes me a bit nervous, and I will definitely have an electrolyte routine ready. Has anyone had experience with either: Fasting and lipoma reduction? Or a 21 day fast or longer? Thanks.

Oh so that’s what those are? I’ve had a lipoma on my thigh for a long time, but didn’t know what it was. I knew is was a ball of fat though.

I just completed two 3 and 1/2 day fasts while eating keto in between. Absolutely no sugar in any form, very strict.

Reading your post reminded me of my lipoma so I reached down and can’t even find it anymore.

Yay!! Another added benefit of fasting I didn’t even know I needed.

Hi, I have tried this (I have one pretty large sized lipoma on my back), tried this and fasting didn’t work. You’ll just get smaller / leaner but the lipomas stay the same size. I actually found mine looked bigger after losing a lot of weight, cause there is less bodyfat covering it and it stuck out more. I think surgery is the only option to remove sadly :(

I have been doing keto with 18-6 intermittent fasting and also one 42 hour fasting every week. The lipoma I have in my left arm has reduced in size, disappeared visually and I can only feel it under skin if I touch that area.
