It definitely can get tougher if you exercise and then need to wait another 24+ hours to eat. That is part of why I “try” to work out on the mornings I intend to eat. If I swim a mile on a day that I am not eating, I am always a bit more hungry than if I did not swim (big surprise!). On the positive side, I find that when I am not hungry during or soon after exercising, such that I can also use exercise as a way of putting off any hunger signals temporarily as well if I want to wait another 6 hours and feel hungry.
