I think the key is what is your goals. i.e are you looking for better health, losing weight, gain lean/muscle mass, and/or?
If its just general weight loss, etc, doing IF ( calorie restriction ), + some workout ( which burns calories ), its already great. Based on what you describe, if you can only do it or afford the time to workout after work then just go at it. Key is consistency and sustainability. The schedule and timings have to work for you. Just keep to your IF schedule and not overeat/binge eating during your feeding windows.
That said, there are of course pros/cons of working out at different states etc, but those pales in comparison if say, you are missing a workout or skipping off your routine and having too many cheats days etc.
