Losing 3kg in 10 days means little unless we know your gender, height, starting weight, etc.
If you were a male at 5’10 ft and weighed 60kg to start with … then 3kg is 5% of your total weight.
If you were a male at 5’10 ft and weighed 120 kg to start with … then 3kg is 2.5% of your total weight.
10 days seems like a very long fast (to me). I know you had honey and oat milk etc but your effort was still incredible.
If you were doing exercise you may have built muscle which is heavy. Weight loss isn’t really a good or accurate measurement. Theoretically someone could gain 10 kg but look much much MUCH slimmer. It’s about body composition.
Anyway … if you do what you done 10 more times this year … you’d be about 30kg lighter. WOW.
I lost 3kg (after water weight returned) from doing a 3 day dirty water fast with 0 calories. Granted, I’m also starting from a heavier position most likely (SW:163.2kg), so the weight will leave me easier for now.
You are the one setting the terms, so I’d say yes! If this works for you, kudos and well done! We all have different microbiome, and all depending on the biodiversity in your gut, some things that won’t work for others, may be just brilliant for you.
If the honey and milk don’t cause inflammation or cravings, peace with it and carry on… I’d say.
I’m a coffee nerd and get plenty of sweetness from fresh light roasts in my coffee.
3kg in days .. dunno, it’s not bad at all .. I just did 6 days fasting, lost 3 kg and have kept them off
Massive achievement! Well done!
Even if/when the honey briefly spiked your insulin response within a pretty short time that was back to your pre-coffee baseline.
If you can show such self control over 10 days imagine how tight you will be able to control your regular diet! I personally include weekly cheat-meals/days as they keep it sustainaible just like your coffee and honey did during your fast.
