Always go for water before going for the food in these situations.
Make your last meal of the day the larger one.
If you need to end your eating window with a treat or a sweet, do it. Denying yourself foods you enjoy isn’t good for you long term.
Tell yourself you’re not going to starve to death if you don’t eat.
Then the old standards of brushing your teeth when the eating window closes; using mouthwash before trying to eat.
I found eating more protein made a huge impact in feeling satisfied and not wanting to eat past window or feeling food obsessed. Also addressing my emotional eating in an attempt to soothe, so doing mindful activities instead.
