Going Downhill With My Intermittent Fasting Journey

I heard about IF and decided to give it a go. Followed some advice from YouTube and people who were successful, but I have not read any books. Perhaps that's where I am going wrong. My routine usually involved eating some time around 7am and ending eating at 3pm. I'm the kind of eater that used to enjoy chips and sugary sodas, but that has changed mostly. I say mostly because when I went back to office it was harder to choose healthy options (I missed Dr. Pepper). This led to me eventually buying my favorite popcorn brand, Skinny Pop, more frequently. I'm not sure how I did it, but I feel stupid to admit it, but I forgot how to do IF successfully. I'm thinking should I have 3 meals or 2 meals? Cutting out the snacks is a no brainer, but more than taste, I love having something to chew on. Perhaps I should buy gum more often or celery sticks. Any advice would be appreciated on getting back on track. I'm trying to avoid going back to 240. I hit 218 which was a huge win. TL;DR Op was successful with IF; until he wasn't!

The book I like the best is called Fast Feast Repeat, I’ve been doing the recommended Fast Start and it’s been manageable and easy for me. I’m down about 10 pounds and many inches on day 29. It’s full of information that is science based, and I’ve gone in confident that I’d be successful. It was written by a school teacher who has lost her obesity and maintained a healthy weight. Best of luck to you, I’m certain you can succeed!
