I’m trying IF for weight loss and overall really liking it but I’m having a lot of sleep issues lately due to some of my meds. And poor sleep is giving me terrible energy and making it hard to be active. Sleep meds leave me in an even worse spot in the daytime.
Sometimes the most helpful thing is a cbd gummy or a gaba/theanine gummy. Which I have been trying to avoid due to fasting at night. But non gummy formulas are expensive or just don’t work as well which is frustrating.
Real talk, is my fast completely ruined every time I have to take a gummy or two to get back to sleep?
I assume yes but just wondering.

Your health is most paramount. Will your fast technically be broken? Probably, but will your better sleep help your overall health and lead to you being more active?
I’ve seen how diet pops technically interfere with fasting even though they are zero calorie, but I also found that when I had something like that during my fast it helped me get through the period without eating. Even though my fasts weren’t perfect I still lost weight.
At the end of the day you don’t have to be perfect, you just need to do what works for you
