I use the myfitnesspal website and cellphone app to keep myself accountable and track what I eat. Also besides checking the weight on the scale, I look at myself in the mirror and see if I want to be like that or get better.
One thing that helps is when I use the myfitnesspal thing, I can build a food log for the upcoming day so it’s like setting myself up for how I want to eat.
It’s a step, in the direction you want progress to go is how I see it.
What we choose to eat or not eat is a choice, so choose wisely.
Hang in there and just keep making progress and you’ll get there.
maybe if you get the urge to order food you can take a quick walk around your block to clear your head? and possible leave the phone at home so you’re not tempted to do it while you’re walking around.
if you don’t wanna leave your phone at home and you’re willing, delete the food apps and delete any cards attached to websites you can order from so that if you get the urge, it’s a hassle to pull out your card and have to type in the info. I’ve had to do this to break my habit of ordering food “just cuz”, and for me it’s helped tremendously! also getting on something like hellofresh helps too, they plan my meals for me and I just cook em lol
