There is a Dr. Jamnadas Youtube video lecture where he talks on this subject, indicating that some on IF have less symptoms due to chemo, but the medical community is hesitant to accept this as a possibility. Sorry that I don’t remember which one.
Fasting may help and be considered adjunctive to chemo!
This study is in breast cancer but with a little more googling you may find information about Hodgkin’s dz.
“This research essentially found that fasting switches healthy cells from a busy, proliferative state to a quiet, maintenance mode. Why? There’s low level of nutrient and insulin around, so it’s time to conserve energy. Malignant cells, however, don’t listen to these body’s signals and don’t respond to food scarcity by entering this protective mode,” Funk explained. “Because chemo targets cells that divide quickly, when you receive it in a fasted state, it should sail past quiet healthy cells and more effectively target the busy cancer cells.”
I have not but i have seen some documentarys where fasting rid them of cancer. Apparently cancer feeds off of sugar so starving works to starve the cancer and stop it growing and then autophagy can help clear out bad cells. They were not doing the 16/8 kind of fasting, they fasted for weeks at a time. I have said ever since watching that if i ever got cancer i would try the intermittent fasting. I really can’t remember the titles of the documentarys but u can probably find some on youtube/amazon prime if u have it. I also watched a vid of a guy on youtube who fasted but allowed himself so many spices a day to help with it. Turmeric and stuff and that also worked for him. Best wishes.
