Healthcare-specific Textbooks?

I know there are requests regarding the best nutrition books out there, but I’m specifically asking around to see if there are any that combine nutrition and disease; any specifically written for healthcare professionals? I’m hoping there’s a somewhat current, evidence-based text that explains nutrition interventions in various disease processes. Maybe some combination of nutrition and pathophysiology? I think this may be a tall order, but it’s worth a shot!

Answer

I have a textbook called “prescriptions for natural health a-z” that I use for pretty much every health problem I’ve ever had, and used it constantly as a holistic nutritionist.

Is that the kind of book you’re looking for?

Answer

I’m a registered dietitian and here are the books I’d recommend based on what was given to us throughout our curriculum. This book while outdated is considered the bible of nutrition textbooks. We also used this book, and this book.
