How and when to break extended fast?

Hey guys, I am currently doing an extended fast and today is my 11th day. The thing is that in 12 days I am going to attend a get together with lots of beer and fast food which I have to participate in. I want to fast as long as possible. How do I proceed? My suggestion would be that I start of with broth 10 days in advance. Then 5 days before the event I would eat some veggies like tomatoes and cucumbers. The 4th days some fruits. The 3rd fruit, veggies and some potatoes. And the last 2 days before I would eat normally. Another question: What happens when I break my fast with a ketogenic diet and only eat carbs at the event? Do I get diarrhea? Thanks in advance

I would definitely go back to “ normal” eating 1-2 days prior to the event, otherwise you won’t get the chance to participate properly (at least in my experience). Also when introducing fruit it may be a good idea to eat some fermented foods like sauerkraut or kimchi, since they’re helping you build a good gut microbiome. You’re doing your gut an amazing favour, lets continue this.
