How Do I Push Through?

I keep trying and motivating myself but nothing seems to work, the longest I've gone for is 1 day . Does anyone know how to stay on the fast...? Anything helps

Change your mindset.

During my snake diet routine i made very clear to myself that i only had one mission on this earth: “fast until i hit my desired weight or die trying”

Work, friends, study, well being, health, everything else comes after, during that time the diet came ahead everything else.

I allowed myself to sleep as much as i wanted when days got rough to cope and was encouraged to walk as much as i could, since my main mission was to lose weight.

Given how hard some days can be, dont think you can have a “balanced lifestyle” while fasting, go all-in, enjoy your time, its not gonna last forever!

Take a pause if you can and drink some water or snake juice. Write down why you need to do this.

For me I need to lose weight quickly because my body feels terrible everyday. I stand for work and my weight is getting so high my knees, feet and back hurt due to standing for 12 hour shifts. When my weight is lower I don’t have this problem.

Also, I’ve outgrown all of my clothes and can only wear stretchy clothes from my closet. This is making me really depressed.

The extra weight is physically and mentally harming me.

I exercise everyday but binge eating unhealthy foods is out of control for me.

The last time I felt good was when I fasted last year in January and February. I felt great, looked great and was happier.

Also, you don’t really need to eat everyday to be healthy. Humans have the metabolic capacity to not eat for days and still have healthy immune system and tissue recovery.

Focus on other things that need to be done to improve your life and avoid thinking about food or food related stuff. Set goals for yourself shortterm during the day and longterm If you’re single it’s easier. Watch some David goggins or jocko willink or some other motivational stuff.

I’ve found it easier to start your fast if your diet is already low carb for a couple days b4 fasting. Put some money on the line with dietbet or healthywage.

Watch the videos, when I stop watching finally fasting and cole Robinson videos I lose motivation. Good to know your not alone. I used to do 7 days fasts all the time, now I have a hard time making it 24 hours without eating junk food. It’s an addiction for me to eat and just sucks getting back on the horse
