You can IF or do a long fast. Get some great water and good clean electrolytes and you won’t pass out. I would try to up your water to 2 liters or more.
Fasting is really simple. Just plan a time when you want to fast an go. The more you try, the easier it gets. I started my fasting with a 10 day water fast. Changed me forever.
Generally speaking of you’re fasting for less than a week electrolytes are a non issue. First fast for 72 hours is no problem physically for normal people, especially normal people that have normal stores of body fat. It’s all in your head. Youre already at 1meal a day just start with mini goals like 36 hours as your first fast and go from there. I drink a full glass of water when I feel hungry to distract myself. I don’t think you need to drink excessive amount of water but a liter seems reasonable.
Of course everyone is different, and this is just a generalization. Try it and see what works for you.
Start slow and keep a Gatorade handy for emergencies. If you feel like you’re going to be ill, break your fast. It’s not the end of your weight loss journey, it’s just another day.
Gatorade is like medicine if you aren’t getting the sugar and electrolytes your body is used too. It will fix you up quick, and your body will be back in a fasting state in no time.
