I have been doing IF for a little over a year now and decided to switch up the timing starting this week. I typically do 16:8, occasionally longer than 16 depending on the events of the day. My eating window is now going to be from 8am - 4pm, with my first meal consisting of some fruit, greek yogurt, and a english muffin with peanut butter on it.
I am just curious how others break their fasts?

Depends if I’m fasting longer than my schedule. I usually do OMAD and just eat like usual. But if I’m doing a 36-48 hour fast, I’ll break it with half a protein shake first just to not overload my stomach.

I just eat a normal meal.
I feel like this is more of a thing with longer fasts (36+ hours). I don’t think it needs to be something to be super concerned with unless you have a really delicate tummy.
