I learned that eating something high in sulfur first, then giving it a while before regular food (an hour or so) is immensely helpful. I use pumpkin seeds, but avocado is higher (I don’t like avocado).
Before I started eating the seeds, I kept getting “launch me to the moon right through the ceiling cartoon style” diarrhea when I broke fast, lol.
However, how long are your fasts going to be? You want to start with broth if they are over 4 days. (The above is fine for 36 hours)
So I think this gets better the more often you fast and your body figures out what’s happening a little bit. The first few times, it didn’t matter what I ate or how I tried to ease back into it. Now I usually break my fast with a couple dill pickle spears followed by high protein - usually a couple of hamburger patties with mustard and pepper jack cheese. I stick to low carb mostly with occasional treats here and there and it really helps. I call it the big clean out lol! That’s essentially what’s happening. Just purging all the stuff that’s been sitting in there it’s gotta get moving again.
