Practice. It took me a couple of months of 24hr then 48hr rolling fasts before I moved to 5:2 (eating on weekends only), and honestly it was hard going for a long time, but after a month of 5:2 it’s much easier. Fasting is like a muscle you need to train. It takes time, take it easy. It’s about the journey
Stay busy and away from food. Plan ahead and keep the good food out of the house, if you’re super serious and lack the will power to just do it lock the credit cards and keep enough cash on hand for day to day living.
