You have to accept that this is your lifestyle now if you want to hit your goals. Like you I’ve done every diet known to man all my life and once I read The Obesity Code and learned about fasting that yoyo journey has ceased. I no longer feel hungry all the time eating “low-fat” diets and I feel better than I have in over 15yrs. I’m almost at my goal weight now BUT will definitely continue fasting for the rest of my life as I can see/feel the benefits.
If you can’t keep up IF more than a couple months it may not be for you. If you did manage to keep it up 6 months and get the desired results, how would you keep the weight off? I think for a lot of people they have to continue IF the rest of their lives to maintain results.
